The Miami Dolphins have been making a ton of roster moves this offseason, with the most notable coming in the form of prominent departures like the trades of Jaylen Waddle and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
However, they aren't just trading players; they're releasing veterans as well. Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa have garnered the most attention, but the release of Bradley Chubb, an edge rusher, is arguably just as big a decision from the Dolphins.
ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques notes that, in the wake of Chubb's release, the team's biggest remaining roster hole is an edge rusher. They have a few interesting players under contract, but they need a lot more help at the position this offseason.

"Biggest remaining roster hole: Edge rusher," Louis-Jacques writes. "(Joshua) Uche, Chop Robinson, and David Ojabo are a relatively unproven group that still needs another starting-caliber player and more depth."
Adding more help to the edge rusher group is one of the biggest needs for the Dolphins this offseason. Of course, there are plenty of other needs.
Wide receiver, in the aftermath of Waddle's and Hill's departures, is another major need. They also could use more help at cornerback, safety, tight end, and offensive line.
Overall, the Dolphins need a ton of help this offseason, but the edge rusher room is very questionable for Jeff Hafley's defense.

Getting pressure on quarterbacks is a must in the NFL, and while Chop Robinson, David Ojabo, and Joshua Uche are intriguing edge rusher options, they need better players at the position if there's to be any hope for the defense in 2026.
There are plenty of options in the 2026 NFL Draft, and the Dolphins should seriously consider taking multiple throughout the draft.
With Chubb and Jaelan Phillips both gone and on new teams, the Dolphins' edge rusher room needs the most help right alongside the wide receiver room.
