Reid was the notable addition, as heis officially listed as questionable with a right ankle sprain, an apparent injury he suffered in their Tuesday contest against the Phoenix Suns.

The 2023-24 Sixth Man of the Year, and current second-favorite to win the award again this season, has been a staple for the Timberwolves over the course of his seven seasons with the franchise, but could miss their upcoming game against Utah.

“Naz is a proud dude. He hates sitting out and almost never does. But if ever there were a night, this might be it,”he wrote on X.

GettyNEW YORK, NEW YORK – NOVEMBER 05: Anthony Edwards #5 of the Minnesota Timberwolves warms up before the game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on November 05, 2025 in New York City.

On Tuesday,it was reported by Shams Charania that Edwards would miss one to two weekswith right knee inflammation.

“Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards willbe re-evaluated in 1 to 2 weeks due to right knee inflammation,”he wrote on X, announcing the injury update.

Edwards is also known for his overall availability, but the team reportedly wants to limit any risk of the knee injury getting worse before whatis expected to be another deep playoff run.

“We’ve been here before,”Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch said, according to Michael C. Wright of ESPN. “I thinkit’s incredible when you think about Ant playing almost 95% of the gameshe’s been available to play. That’s almost unheard of.”

Krawczynski added that Edwards is a ‘fast healer‘and that Minnesota is likely taking extra precautions to guarantee the franchise star is healthy for the postseason.

“The 1-2 week timeline is intentional.Edwards has been afast healer, so they are leaving open the possibility he returns sooner than later. Butthey’re not going to rush him,”he wrote.
