The Cleveland Cavaliers earned another big victory Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, bouncing back after a 10-point loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
Entering the fourth quarter down by two, Cleveland outscored Milwaukee by nine in the final frame to earn a seven-point victory.
Evan Mobley led the way, finishing with a monster double-double, scoring 27 points to go along with 15 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and no turnovers.
James Harden also performed, scoring 27 in addition to six assists, five rebounds and two steals.
Despite two air-balls, Max Strus seems to be working his way back to form, finishing with six points, six rebounds and four assists.
Following the game, head coach Kenny Atkinson responded to reporters that questioned his use of Strus in the closing lineup.
“I have such a comfort level with him,” said Atkinson.
“It’s hard not to finish with the guy because he is such a clutch player. We’ll see where it ends up. He has a way of imposing his will and makes you put him in the lineup.”
In Strus' first game of the season, he scored 24 points to go along with eight rebounds, shooting 6-for-7 from downtown.
If Atkinson's recent lineups are any indication, it seems as though he'll favor Strus to finish games alongside Harden, Mobley and Donovan Mitchell.
Following Tuesday night's game, the Cavaliers will finish their current three-game road trip with games against the Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans before returning home to face the Orlando Magic.
