Former NFL QB Tom Brady looks on prior to a game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship game.

Even at 48 years old and three years removed from the NFL, New England Patriots legend Tom Brady still has the magic throwing touch. He showed off his skills during an appearance on The Tonight Show earlier this week, and he did not disappoint.

Brady was teaching the host how to throw a football with some accuracy. He certainly did that, as he was able to take out several vinyl records and shatter them. Not only did he shatter them, but he did so with precise throws. It looked as though he was still playing in the NFL today. It was a moment captured on social media that reminded everyone how good an athlete he still is.

Tom Brady’s Final Game

To be fair to Brady, the Patriots’ legend’s last game was only three years ago. They came in the NFC Wild Card Game on January 16, 2023. The Dallas Cowboys were matched up against Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This is a game that saw the Cowboys dominate from the get-go. The Cowboys jumped out to an 18-0 lead heading into halftime. The Buccaneers regained momentum towards the end of the first half, when Brady threw an interception on the final drive before halftime.

Ultimately, Brady helped the team get on the board. He connected with wide receiver Julio Jones for a 30-yard touchdown pass. However, any momentum the Buccaneers were able to get from that touchdown was short-lived. Dak Prescott threw a touchdown pass to Ceedee Lamb, in what was a strong game from the Cowboys quarterback.

There were a lot of milestones in this game. Brady threw a career-high 66 passes in this game, completing 35 of those attempts. He finished with 351 yards, the most by any player in NFL history whose final game was in the playoffs. The final touchstone of his career was an eight-yard throw to Cameron Brate with 2: 04 left in the fourth quarter.

Overall, Brady did not have his best game, but he still showed that he can throw a good football.

Brady was also on The Tonight Show to promote the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, which takes place at 4 PM and is televised on Fox this Saturday. The event will feature celebrities such as Brady, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. The game will not lack any measure of star power.

Tom Brady Still Has The Skill

Brady is still very much in the star power discussion as well. The throws he made were impressive to say the least, and it showed how technically sound the quarterback is. Also revealed how dedicated he was to his craft throughout his career, especially as he made his movements and techniques seem seamless.

Patriots fans are not surprised at all by Brady’s technique and ability to get the ball out quickly. If anything, those look like he hasn’t missed a beat since his playing days with the Patriots. It also brings back tremendous memories of unrivaled success on and off the field.
