Longtime former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson announced his retirement Wednesday following six NFL seasons.
Wilson was a 2020 third-round pick of the Bengals, playing five-plus seasons for Cincy before he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys at the 2025 trade deadline.
"From being a Wyoming kid with big dreams to hearing my name called in the [third] round of the 2020 Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals... football gave me more than I ever could have imagined," Wilson wrote, in part. "When I look back on my career, I just feel grateful. Not many Wyoming kids get the chance to live out their dream in the NFL, and I never took a single snap for granted."
Wilson, 29, was released by Dallas in February and has now concluded a career that spanned 83 games (66 starts), with 76 of those games coming as a member of the Bengals.
He had four straight 100-tackle seasons from 2021-2024 for the Bengals and a career total of 565 to go with 11 interceptions and 26 pass breakups. The first two years of his tackle streak coincided with the Bengals advancing to Super Bowl LVI and then returning to the AFC Championship Game in the 2023 season.
