In Philly's upcoming Thursday road matchup against the Sacramento Kings, Embiid was listed as doubtful to play on the team's injury report.
This marks the first time that Embiid's status has been upgraded. While it's still uncertain that he will play against Sacramento, his doubtful tag indicates that he has made clear progress in his recovery.
Embiid has been out since the start of this month after sustaining a right oblique strain.
