With Jalen Brunson out for the night, the New York Knicks relied heavily on Josh Hart in their March 17 matchup against the Indiana Pacers.
The game plan became clear when it was realized that Hart had it going from a shooting standpoint. The veteran forward was nearly perfect all game long.
Following his historic night for the New York Knicks in their 136-110 win over the Indiana Pacers, Hart took to social media to react to his performance. In typical Josh Hart fashion, it was a comedic response.

The 2025-2026 NBA season marks the fourth year for the Hart-Knicks partnership.
Hart came to the Knicks after he spent two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. He joined the Knicks as one of their “win-now” acquisitions, reuniting with his Villanova teammate, Jalen Brunson.
The 31-year-old entered the NBA out of ’Nova as a first-round pick (30th overall) in 2017. He was selected by the Utah Jazz but traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Hart spent the first two seasons of his career with the Lakers, appearing in 130 games.
LA sent Hart to the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA blockbuster that included Anthony Davis. Hart was sent alongside Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and draft compensation.
Hart stayed with the Pelicans for three seasons. During the third season, he was moved to the Blazers before the deadline went into place. Eventually, the Blazers moved Hart for several players and draft considerations.
Over four years with the Knicks, Hart has started in 162 out of the 239 games he’s played. The veteran forward has produced 11.5 points per game, while shooting 49% from the field and 35% from three. Along with his scoring, Hart has averaged 8.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
