The Celtics defeated the shorthanded Warriors with ease. They finished the game with a score of 120-99.

Boston improves to 46-23 on the year, winning their last three. The Celtics are 3.5 games behind the first-seeded Detroit Pistons.

With Tatum missing most of the 2025-2026 NBA season due to an Achilles injury, many around the league believed the Celtics would be fighting for a spot in the postseason.

Many factors have helped the Celtics fall into place, but none more than Jaylen Brown putting together an MVP-caliber year. The fact that he’s gaining the numbers to land in the all-time Celtics category is well-deserved.

In 61 games this season, Brown has averaged 28.4 points per game while shooting 47% from the field and 34% from beyond the arc. Along with his scoring, Brown has produced 7.1 rebounds per game and 5.1 assists per game. He was named an All-Star for the fourth time in a row and will likely garner All-NBA recognition.

With a few weeks still left to go in the season, Brown is likely to surpass his career-high scoring total in a single season. He set the mark with 1,784 points in 2022-2023. This season, he’s at 1,734.

After Wednesday’s win, Brown and the Celtics will pay a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, March 20.
