Liam Rosenior raises concern about his Chelsea players for a second time to staff

Liam Rosenior has issued a stark ultimatum to his Chelsea squad following their European humiliation, demanding four key personnel changes ahead of Saturday’s critical trip to Everton.

Chelsea are under significant pressure heading into this weekend’s Premier League clash with Everton, knowing that a top-five spot is a must.

The likes of Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo could all look for ways out of Stamford Bridge if Champions League football isn’t secured.

And the games aren’t getting any easier. Everton, Manchester City, and Manchester United are next up, and they will make or break Chelsea’s season.

Under even more pressure after the PSG defeat, Rosenior is demanding changes from his players.

Do you think Chelsea should sack Liam Rosenior? Or are you willing to give him more time?🤔

Liam Rosenior calls on his Chelsea players to react vs Everton

Speaking to Chelsea, Rosenior is already looking at ways to put things right against Everton.

“We need to be resilient. We need to make sure we go to Everton with an organisation, with a freshness and intensity in our team, because we want to be in the Champions League next season.

“If we perform how I know we can, we can get there without the individual mistakes that we’re making at the moment.”

The resilience, organisation, freshness and intensity have all been missing at times this season, or at the most we’ve seen a combination of a couple but never a complete performance.

It won’t be easy against Everton, though. And there will be a reunion with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who has set the Premier League alight since moving to Merseyside.

The changes Chelsea should make for Everton

Liam Rosenior’s preparation for the Everton clash must prioritise defensive stability.

With Trevoh Chalobah recently stretchered off and Reece James sidelined with a hamstring injury, Rosenior is forced into a defensive reshuffle. Integrating Malo Gusto, should he recover from illness, is essential to restoring natural balance at right-back, moving away from the Mamadou Sarr experiment that backfired in Europe.

And after Wesley Fofana’s antics at full-time against PSG, Rosenior faces a big decision on whether to stamp his foot down or call upon the defender, just like he’s done throughout this season.
