Man City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Erling Haaland is not a fitness concern ahead of this weekend’s Carabao Cup final.
The Norwegian international was substituted just 10 minutes into the second half of the 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid on Tuesday night. Asked whether Haaland was taken off due to an injury, Guardiola replied:
“Erling Haaland has no injury. He will be available against Arsenal in the Cup final.”
The Cityzens will take to the pitch at Wembley to win the first silverware of the season on Sunday.
