Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior will be desperate to see his side return to winning ways when they face Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Blues have lost their last three matches across all competitions and have won just one of their last five Premier League games, seriously damaging their hopes of finishing in the top four and qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
A 3-0 defeat against holders Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday – 8-2 to the French side on aggregate – piled further pressure on Rosenior, and the former Hull City boss will be desperate to pick up all three points when his side visit the Toffees.
Ahead of that match, it has emerged that Chelsea are set for talks with one of their local rivals about a selling one of their defenders.
As per Football Insider, the Blues are set to hold discussions with fellow London side West Ham United about a deal to sell centre-back Axel Disasi.
The Frenchman is currently on loan at The London Stadium, having not featured for Chelsea during the first half of the season.
Disasi, who spent time on loan at Aston Villa last term, was loaned to the Hammers in January having been frozen out at Stamford Bridge under former head coach Enzo Maresca.

The 28-year-old joined the Blues from French side Monaco in 2023 but, having featured regularly during his first 18 months in the capital, fell out of favour under Maresca.
In total the Frenchman has played more than 60 times for the Blues across all competitions, and he has featured eight times since joining West Ham.
It is claimed that the east London outfit are keen to discuss a potential permanent deal for the defender, although Chelsea are set to make a significant loss on the player with West Ham very unlikely to pay anywhere near the £38 million that the Blues forked out to sign Disasi two-and-a-half years ago.
