NFL Draft 2026: Philadelphia Eagles to host top offensive guard for top-30 visit

The Philadelphia Eagles could be looking to significantly upgrade the offensive line in front of quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley, during next month’s 2026 NFL Draft.

After the offensive line regressed last season, and Hurts became mired in inconsistency for much of the 2025 campaign, general manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles coud try to make a major upgrade to rebuild what had previously been one of the premier offensive line units in the sport.

Penn State offensive guard Vega Ioane is widely viewed as the top interior offensive linemen in this year’s draft class, and is all but assured to hear his name called during the first round of the NFL Draft.

Following the Nittany Lions’ Pro Day, Ioane revealed that he has a top-30 visit scheduled with the Eagles.

Vega, 6-foot-4 and 328 pounds, was one of the most consistently dominant offensive linemen in the country last season, and according to Pro Football Focus, didn’t allow a sack or a quarterback hurry all season, despite playing in the pressure cooker of the Big Ten.

While the Eagles’ loss of offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland could be a monumental one for the franchise, adding a cornerstone type of player like Ioane early in the draft could be the type of move that rejuvenates not just a once-dominant line but ignites an entire offense.
