ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the New England Patriots signed cornerback Kindle Vildor to a 1-year contract.

The New England Patriots signed their first cornerback of the offseason Thursday morning — Kindle Vildor.

Former Buccaneers free-agent CB DJ Kindle Vildor is signing a one-year deal with the New England Patriots, per his agents Kevin Conner and Robert Brown of @unisportsmgmt.

Vildor spent the 2025 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He entered the league with the Chicago Bears, where he started 21 games from 2021-22.

During 2023, Vildor spent part of the season with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and the Tennessee Titans.

Last season with the Buccaneers, Vildor posted 16 combined tackles with three pass defenses and an interception. He played 164 defensive snaps and 76 snaps on special teams.

In his career, Vildor has 140 combined tackles, 18 pass defenses and two picks in 80 games. He has started 27 of those contests.
