After backing out of a trade to acquire Maxx Crosby, only to sign All-Pro Trey Hendrickson immediately afterwards, the Baltimore Ravens have made it clear that upgrading the pass rush is a top priority this offseason. The Ravens may also be eyeing one of the most underrated edge presences in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Hendrickson undoubtedly upgrades one of the most important positions on defense, especially with new head coach Jesse Minter importing an attacking scheme to Baltimore.
The Ravens could be about to redouble their efforts to boost the pass rush, after at least internally, apparently weighing the idea to pair Hendrickson and Crosby in one fell swoop.
NFL Draft 2026: Baltimore Ravens hosting Dani Dennis-Sutton for top-30 visit
Penn State Nittany Lions Dani Dennis-Sutton, NFL Draft
Penn State Nittany Lions defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton (33) celebrates his tackle of Boise State Broncos running back Ashton Jeanty (2) during their Vrbo Fiesta Bowl matchup at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Dec. 31, 2024.
Following a stellar performance at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, standout Penn State edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton only participated in on-field position drills during the Nittany Lions’ Pro Day, against the backdrop of his stock surging, ahead of next month’s NFL Draft.
Following the workout on Wednesday, Dennis-Sutton revealed that he has a top-30 visit upcoming with the Baltimore Ravens.
Dennis-Sutton, 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, is an explosive and twitchy pass rusher who wasn’t just productive and disruptive on the field, but emerged as one of the Nittany Lions’ strongest and consummate leadership voices off it, as well.
Last season, Dennis-Sutton produced 8.5 sacks, for the second consecutive season, and according to Pro Football Focus, added 45 total pressures and 13 quarterback hits, underscoring his impact as an edge rusher.
If the Ravens are looking to add an affordable edge rusher with upside during the NFL Draft, Dennis-Sutton could be an ideal fit.
