Tom Brady Made Savage Joke About Jayden Daniels' Mom

Tom Brady never misses an opportunity to make some savage jokes at another player's expense and did exactly that at an event for his flag football tournament. This time, the victim was Washington Commanders starting QB Jayden Daniels.

During a promotional event for his upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic tournament, Brady was onstage with Daniels and the two embraced. Brady then joked that he hadn't seen Daniels in a while and was happy that Daniels' mom "let him play."

"I haven't seen Jayden on the field in 7 or 8 months… I'm just happy his mom let him play," Brady joked.

It was a clear dig at how active of a role Daniels' mother Regina Jackson plays in his life. Jackson serves as Daniels' agent and business manager and is even believed to have an influence over who he's allowed to date.

Naturally, she's been the subject of no shortage of jokes and memes in his short career in the NFL. And of course, fans had plenty of fun at Daniels' expense after Brady's comments.

Fan Response

"Tom Brady saying that with a smile is crazy 😂 but you can tell there's real respect behind it. Jayden Daniels got people watching, even the GOAT is tuned in. This is one of those moments where you just know something special is building," one user remarked.

"Jesus christ I don't think *I've* ever said anything this mean about him," another fan wrote.

"You can't tell me Jayden didn't feel a way lmao."

Brady rarely did as much smack-talking about other players during his own playing career as he does now. Clearly the man was holding back for decades while becoming the greatest player in NFL history.

As for Daniels, it does remain a little unusual to have his mom micromanaging his life in his mid-20s while he's making tens of millions of dollars.
