Tom Brady Calls Out WWE as ‘Scripted' in Blunt Comments

Tom Brady faced some of the biggest, scariest men in all of professional sports during his illustrious career as an NFL quarterback.

Every time the seven-time Lombardi Trophy winner dropped back to pass, it was a golden opportunity for a defensive end to make a name for themselves by breaking the most famed player in football.

So when it comes to taking pressure in the pocket, Brady knows what he is talking about.

During a recent interview, though, Brady took a shot at a group of people most bystanders stay away from angering: professional wrestlers.

When asked how many WWE wrestlers it would take to sack him, Brady didn’t hold back on his thoughts.

“All their stuff is so cute and scripted,” he said. “And they know what it is going on. In a football game, you don’t know. So they wouldn’t even get near me.”

Brady, who has been in a continuous feud with WWE superstar and YouTube personality Logan Paul over the last few months in the lead-up to an exhibition flag football tournament next weekend in Los Angeles, isn’t afraid of playing the heel to wrestling fans around the world.

The back-and-forth between Brady and Paul could be leading to something at next month’s WrestleMania 42, which is being hosted at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Brady, a minority owner of the Raiders, could be in the building for the two-night spectacle.

“Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they’d punch those [wrestlers] right in the throat,” Brady continued. “And they’d probably be crying. There’s no fake BS we do in American football.”
