Premier League leaders Arsenal will hope to lift their first trophy of the season when they face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
The Gunners beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 on Tuesday to secure their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, and they remain in contention to win an unprecedented quadruple this season.
Ahead of their trip to Wembley on Sunday, it is emerging that Arsenal are one of a number of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on a Bundesliga star.
As per Sports Boom, Arsenal have been monitoring Bayer Leverkusen’s Christian Kofane as they consider potential transfer targets ahead of this summer’s window.
The report claims that the Gunners are joined by Premier League rivals Chelsea and Newcastle United in showing interest in the 19-year-old, who has impressed for Leverkusen this term.

The forward has scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 38 matches across all competitions so far this term, and his impressive displays are attracting interest from elsewhere in Europe.
Newcastle are said to be plotting a summer move for the Cameroonian, who made his international debut in December, with the Magpies having already set aside money to sign the player.
Kofane is under contract at Leverkusen until the end of the 2028/29 season, having signed a long-term deal when he joined the club last summer.
Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the Cameroonian, who has scored twice for his country.
Despite this, it appears that the Bundesliga outfit could face a battle to keep hold of the forward beyond the end of the current campaign.
