Lakers Announce Injury Report With Key Players vs Miami Heat

The Los Angeles Lakers are on quite a hot streak.

Coming off two major wins over the Houston Rockets, the Lakers are going to be back on the court on Thursday night to face the Miami Heat.

Heading into the second night of the back-to-back set, the Lakers are in danger of potentially missing three star players.

Lakers List Key Players On The Injury Report vs Miami Heat

LeBron James being on the injury report doesn't come as a surprise. Earlier this season, the veteran forward made it clear that at this stage of his career, he is going to be questionable for each back-to-back set. At 41, LeBron has to maintain good health in a different way throughout the long season.

Doncic's presence on the injury report is slightly surprising. The veteran guard hasn't missed any action since the Lakers' February 12 game against the Dallas Mavericks. Since then, he has had a strong stretch of games through the end of February and into March.

Over that 15-game stretch, Doncic has made 47% of his shots from the field and knocked down 41% of his threes while averaging 33.4 points per game. He also came down with 8.3 rebounds per game and produced 8.3 assists per game.

Lastly, Reaves is seemingly dealing with an arm contusion, which didn't raise any red flags during Wednesday's action against the Rockets. While Reaves had a long stretch of absences earlier this season, he has only missed one game since returning to the lineup on February 3.

The Lakers and the Heat are slated for an 8 PM ET tip on Wednesday. LA is searching for its eighth win in a row. Meanwhile, the Heat are hoping to jump out of a two-game losing streak.
