Jayden Daniels had a really bad campaign in the 2025 NFL season. The Washington Commanders had a 5-12 record in the regular season, ended up third in the NFC East division. They missed the playoffs and the fans were really disappointed with them.
Daniels is currently enjoying his offseason like most other players. However, he has also involved himself in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic which is being hyped up by Tom Brady recently.

Daniels had a good individual season, though he only played in 7 games. He completed 114 of 188 pass attempts for 1,262 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions while also rushing for 278 yards and 2 touchdowns. Now that the season is over, he is going to participate in the upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic event, where he will captain the Wildcats FFC with Joe Burrow, while Brady captains the Founders FFC with Jalen Hurts.

Brady has been promoting the event which is set to be held on March 21, 2026 at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The event will feature a lot of celebrities such as Logan Paul, while former and current NFL stars such as Brady himself, Rob Gronkowski, Burrow, and Hurts will also participate.
Daniels, along with the others, all participated in the Draft event that was held on March 19. During that event, Brady met him and made a joke regarding his mom. He said, “I haven’t seen Jayden on the field in 7 or 8 months. … I’m just happy his mom let him play.” which drew a lot of laughter from everyone in the room, with Daniels also nodding and smiling.
It is in reference to Daniels missing most of the season due to a horrifying elbow injury back in November, 2025 that has kept him out. Brady has personally met Daniels’ mother Regina Jackson multiple times at games when he covered them. She is his biggest supporter and acts as her son’s agent, having a lot of control over his schedule. Many fans did not like the joke aimed at his mother, and attacked Brady over it.
