The 2025 NFL season has not been a good one for New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart. The franchise finished the season with a 4-13 record and were last in the NFC East division. They missed the playoffs yet again, the third consecutive season they have done so.
The players are currently enjoying themselves in the offseason, and Dart is also relaxing. However, fans including one prominent head coach could not hold themselves back to the quarterback’s recent photos.

Dart had a quite good 2025 campaign, considering it was his rookie season. He played 14 games, of which he started 12 of them, and completed 216 of 339 passes for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. He also rushed for 487 yards and 9 touchdowns on 86 carries, showing dual-threat ability and impressed many fans and analysts. He became the first rookie quarterback in league history to rush for a touchdown in five consecutive games.

Recently, Dart was spending time with his girlfriend Marissa Ayers. She posted images of them on an outdoor terrace at dusk together on her Instagram. In the photos, he can be seen wearing a floor-length black pilgrim-inspired robe as a playful romantic gesture. Many fans felt it was hilarious, and so did Dart’s previous head coach Lane Kiffin.
The LSU Tigers head coach reposted the images with a haha emoji and tagged the player as well. The two share a good relationship from their time together at college football. Dart was a starter under Kiffin at Ole Miss from 2022 to 2024, and was prolific in that role. Both of them have previous appreicated each other and engage in friendly conversation, with Dart calling him “one of my best friends”, while Kiffin said their bond was like the one “you want your son to have”.
They have separated since, with Dart getting drafted by the Giants in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, the recent post by Kiffin has reignited their relationship. Many fans commented under the post, finding Dart’s attire hilarious.
