The Los Angeles Rams have the Atlanta Falcon‘s first round selection of the 2026 NFL Draft, the 13th overall, after trading away their original pick, the 29th, in a blockbuster move.
LA has around $26 million in cap space, but has remained silent since the beginning of free agency after making some additions.
With the draft coming up in around a month, the Rams can make a strong selection for their well-rounded team.

Pro Football Focus ranked the Los Angeles Rams as the best team after the initial weeks of free agency, noting MVP Matthew Stafford and Offensive Player of the Year finalist Puka Nacua.
The Rams can now add on to the star-studded offense with the 13th overall pick. USA Today’s Nate Davis dropped his latest mock draft, predicting LA will reinforce the offense.
Davis projects the Rams will add University of Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston with the Atlanta Falcons’ 13th pick.
“Obviously zero need now to reach for a corner here with Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson inbound from K.C. LA had the league’s No. 1 passing game in 2025 – in large part due to Puka Nacua’s heroics. But Davante Adams, 33, was the only other productive wideout and battled injuries late in the season and is only under contract for one more year,” Davis wrote.
“Boston (6-4, 212) is the kind of supersized red-zone target (20 TD catches since 2024) and boundary receiver who could provide an easy transition from Adams while perfectly complementing Nacua.”
Bringing in Boston would give the long-term replacement for Adams, whom the Rams considered trading in the offseason, once his two-year contract ends. The two WRs are not far from each other in physique, with Stafford possibly having a young Adams on the team for the 2026 season.
The collegiate receiver has had two strong seasons, recording 1,781 yards on 132 receptions during his time in Washington — along with the 20 mentioned touchdown receptions.
Rams Weird History With First Round Selections

The Los Angeles Rams already traded one first-round draft selection, with the door remaining open to trade away the other.
Since Sean McVay was hired as head coach of the organization back in 2017, the Rams have used a first-round selection just once, EDGE rusher Jared Verse, who was the 19th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
And what a selection he turned out to be. The former Florida State Seminole won the 2024 Defensive Rookie Player of the Year and is a two-time Pro Bowler.
There is still a month left before the draft and plenty of time for the Rams to decide if they want to keep the 13th overall pick or trade away once again.
