The Blues had a quiet January window, but are expected to be active in the summer, with a number of positions in the squad needing to be addressed.
Chelsea are said to still be in the market for a centre back, whilst they are said to also be looking for another midfielder and attacker.
Chelsea haven’t made contact with Aleksandar Pavlovic
Midfield is said to be a priority this summer, with the Blues looking to ease the burden on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
Chelsea have been linked with both Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton, but will likely face stiff competition for the duo.
Another name that’s been linked is Pavlovic, but Falk has provided an update, and confirmed the Blues haven’t made any contact.
“It is NOT TRUE: Chelsea have made contact with Aleksandar Pavlović,” he wrote in his Bayern Insider column.
“It’s interesting that so many English clubs are keen on Pavlović, but it’s not true that there has been any contact.
“I can tell you there was some contact in the winter, but not from Chelsea – it was from Manchester City! They knocked on the door and asked if there was an opportunity to bring the German to the Premier League, but there was a clear “no” from the club.”
Pavlovic is under contract until 2029, and the 21-year-old has made 35 appearances in all competitions this season.
Chelsea have wealth of midfield options
Whilst a midfielder is said to be a priority the Blues have a wealth of options, and it’s hard to see where there’s room in the squad.
There are doubts over the future of Fernandez, but Chelsea also have Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Andrey Santos and Dario Essugo.
