There is a new No. 1 in Arizona.
It didn’t take long for someone to nab former Arizona Cardinals franchise quarterback Kyler Murray’s old number.
A week removed from his departure to the Minnesota Vikings, No. 1 now belongs to MIKE linebacker Mack Wilson Sr.
From quarterback of the offense to quarterback of the defense.

Wilson, who previously wore No. 2 with the Cardinals, announced the switch on social media on Wednesday.
Given his 1-of-1 branded shirts many of the players and coaches don around the facility, the switch in digits isn’t all that surprising.
Wilson is entering the final season of his current three-year deal.
Will Johnson throwing it back to college
Wilson isn’t the only Cardinals player changing up his look in 2026.
Second-year pro Will Johnson is taking over Wilson’s old No. 2 jersey after wearing No. 0 as a rookie.
Johnson last wore the number at Michigan.
He too posted the move on social media.
