On Friday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Memphis for a showdown with the Grizzlies.
The Celtics are coming off a strong (120-99) win over the Golden State Warriors (at home).
Jaylen Brown led the way with 32 points.

Before Friday’s game, the Celtics had announced that two players were assigned to the G League.
The Maine Celtics wrote (on Thursday): “The @celtics have assigned Max Shulga and Amari Williams to Maine. Both are available for tonight’s game in Long Island.”

Williams and Shulga are both listed as questionable to return to the Celtics for their matchup with the Grizzlies.

Williams was the 46th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft out of Kentucky.
He is averaging 1.3 points and 1.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field in 16 games.
