Tracy McGrady skeptical of NBA expansion after Adebayo's 83-point game

Tracy McGrady says Bam Adebayo dropping 83 points on the Wizards is proof that there isn’t enough talent in the league for an expansion.

The NBA expansion is slowly becoming a reality with the league's governors set to vote on the league's expansion to Las Vegas and Seattle to make it a 32-team league.

Although some believe that the NBA might not have enough talent to sustain two extra teams in the league.

NBA legend Tracy McGrady believes the league lacks talent for the expansion, pointing to Bam Adebayo's 83-point game as an example.

"Have you seen the Washington Wizards play? You saw what Bam did to them the other night? Do we need more of that? I'm just saying. I see bad basketball around the NBA, I know some players are hurt...but that product we are seeing is bad," McGrady stated on the Dan Patrick Show.

"Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of talent coming out of college, there's a lot of talent in the NBA, but what I'm saying is when you are trying to start a franchise, where's the Steph Curry's, Damian Lillard's that can carry your franchise? I just don't see that type of talent out there," he added.
