The conveyor belt of talent at Cobham shows no signs of slowing down, with 10 Chelsea academy players getting the nod to join up with various England squads.

Of course, the senior squad has been bolstered by global superstars, but the foundation of the club remains its Cobham academy, which continues to produce.

Currently, the Chelsea crown jewels, most notably Jesse Derry and Shim Mheuka, are showing the rest of the youngsters what it takes to make that first team breakthrough. However, Derry did only join in the summer from Crystal Palace.

Elsewhere, Liam Rosenior has handed first-team training opportunities to players like 16-year-old Reggie Watson, so the opportunity is definitely there.

And most of these young stars are even getting international recognition.

Every Chelsea academy star called up by England

In a post on X, England announced their Under-20 to Under-17 squads, which feature a total of 10 Chelsea players.

At the U20 level, Murray Campbell continues his defensive rise, while Jimmy-Jay Morgan, currently impressing on loan at Peterborough, has earned a deserved recall.

The U19s see the inclusion of the club’s most talked-about attacking duo, Jesse Derry and Shim Mheuka, whose partnership is viewed as the future of the Chelsea frontline.

Further down the age groups, the talent pool remains just as deep. The U18 squad features the midfield trio of Leo Bernal, Landon Emenalo, and the highly-regarded Reggie Walsh.

Meanwhile, the U17s have turned to a Chelsea-heavy defensive and midfield core, calling up Saheed Diakite, Ibrahim Nicoll-Jazuli, and the versatile Ryan Kavuma-McQueen.
