Liam Rosenior is facing a difficult moment in his role as Chelsea manager, despite only taking over the club two months ago.
The Blues are out of the Champions League after their devastating defeat to PSG, and a run of one win in five Premier League games has cranked the pressure up domestically too.
There is a small chance Chelsea could finish sixth and qualify for Europe’s elite competition, although they won’t be wanting to rely on Aston Villa winning the Europa League.

Chelsea have full commitment to Liam Rosenior
Chelsea fans started to boo some of Rosenior’s decisions during the defeat to PSG, however Fabrizio Romano is hearing that the Blues have total commitment to their current manager.
He said on his YouTube channel: “At the moment, despite all the questions I’m getting, the answer I have on Liam Rosenior is that Chelsea keep believing in their manager.
“Obviously, we all know this is a results-based industry, so let’s see how it’s going to continue in the next months, but at the moment Chelsea show total commitment to the project they started with Liam Rosenior.

“Arriving in the middle of the season in January, it’s obviously something different, especially in a very young group like Chelsea one. So the idea is to support Rosenior, is to trust Rosenior. Then again, he has to deliver as every single coach in the world.
“That’s the point. But Chelsea are not judging Rosenior already now just because of a bunch of games he’s been a few weeks. So this is the situation. Chelsea decided to trust Rosenior after exploring several options in January when they decided to part ways with them. And now the idea is to support and back the manager.”
The financial implications of missing out on the Champions League are great for Chelsea, and will be a worrying sign for Rosenior if they do not reach that target this season.
