Green Bay Packers Named In Massive Running Back Trade With The Miami Dolphins
Matt Schneidman of The Athletic floated the idea:
“Achane is only 24, and he’s one of the NFL’s most explosive backs. Jacobs is probably near the end of his prime at 28 years old. Achane, a 2023 third-round pick, has one year left on his rookie deal and could share a backfield with Jacobs before taking over next season after getting paid.
It wouldn’t be hard for [Packers GM Brian] Gutekunst to ring up his former second-in-command, either.”
The proposal has gained significant traction among Packers fans and analysts, as Achane’s elite speed and big-play ability would inject a new dimension into Matt LaFleur’s offense.
Why De’Von Achane Would Be a Game-Changer for the Packers
Achane has quickly established himself as one of the most dangerous running backs in the NFL.
