The Vikings have landed offensive lineman Ryan Van Demark after the Bills let it be known on Friday afternoon that they wouldn’t match the 1-year offer sheet for nearly $4.3M. NFL Media was first to report the news and KSTP Sports confimed.
Since Van Demark was a restricted free agent, the Bills had five days to match the offer. But chose to not use the entire time. Buffalo does not receive compensation for Van Demark leaving.
Van Demark played in 43 games and started six from 2023-25. He combined for 511 offensive snaps over the past two seasons. Last year, he played 154 snaps at right tackle and 43 at left tackle.
He is expected to serve as a backup to left tackle Christian Darrisaw and right tackle Brian O’Neill.
