The Atlanta Falcons will have a decision to make at quarterback this fall but NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky doesn’t believe there’s much a choice for the team to make.

During an appearance on Get Up, Orlovsky shared that he expects former Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to start for Atlanta this season.

“Fully expect Tua to be the starting quarterback Week 1 because of the reality of Michael Penix’s health,” Orlovsky said.

Orlosky went on to share how Tagovailoa performed at an elite level when healthy just two years ago for Miami.

But last season did not go as planned for Tagovailoa as he threw a career high 15 interceptions and was benched for the final stretch of the season. With new leadership ushered in for the Dolphins, the franchise opted to release Tagovailoa taking on a record $99.2 million in dead cap.

Tagovailoa would later sign with Atlanta the same day he left Miami in hopes to revive his career in the NFL.
