The Philadelphia Eagles made a trade March 20, reportedly sending safety Sydney Brown and two 2026 draft picks to the Atlanta Falcons for the Falcons’ fourth- and sixth-round picks.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, picks No. 114 and 197 of the 2026 NFL Draft are going to the Eagles in exchange for picks No. 122, 215 and Brown.

Brown, 25, was the Eagles’ third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. After being chosen 66th overall out of Illinois — where he was named first team All-Big Ten in 2022 — Brown appeared in 14 games as a rookie in 2023, starting six.
In 2025, Brown appeared in all 17 games for the Eagles, starting three, and recorded 34 tackles.

The London, Ontario native has 86 tackles (55 solo) in his NFL career, which consists of 42 regular season games. In five playoff games, Brown was credited with seven tackles (two solo), but none in the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
