Mizzou (Shop Mizzou) football held its pro day on Friday at the Stephens Indoor Practice Facility.
With NFL scouts watching, 18 now-former Tigers participated in drills. Among them was edge rusher and potential first-round pick Zion Young.
Similar to the NFL Scouting Combine, pro days offer representatives from NFL teams in-person look at players they might select in the NFL Draft.
Young ran the 40-yard dash during the day, finishing with an unofficial time around 4.70 seconds. He did not participate in the 40 during the NFL Draft Combine. According to the NFL, Young has a prospect grade of 6.40, so he is viewed as someone who could be a potential starter after a year of development.
This year’s draft will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
