Chelsea have been linked with the signing of Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic, and now sources from the German club have responded.
The 21-year-old has been a regular in the Bayern side this season, racking up 35 appearances in all competitions so far.
The potential addition would certainly fit with the model that has been created at the club by Todd Boehly and co since they came into the club. A young, promising player is normally at the top of their wishlist.

Aleksandar Pavlovic has no ambition to join Chelsea
Journalist Christian Falk was asked what he had heard regarding Chelsea making contact with the player, however told Bayern Insider that Pavlovic is currently at what he sees as his ‘dream’ club.
He said: “That is not true. Pavlovic himself has shared some details: he says Bayern is his club, he holds it in his heart, and he would love to finish his career there.

“However, in England he is very much in the spotlight. The Chelsea interest is a compliment to his performances, and in the winter a Premier League club did inquire – unlike Chelsea now, back then Manchester City checked if something could happen.
“At that time, the answer was no. Of course, the management listens and has to ask the player: “Will you do it or not?” Pavlovic clearly said no – Bayern is currently his absolute dream. Nothing is happening now, but as you said yourself: never say never if millions come from England.”

Pavlovic interest comes at interesting time for Enzo Fernandez
Reports of Chelsea being interested in signing a new midfielder will certainly be linked by some supporters to the ongoing Enzo Fernandez debacle.
Fernandez’s recent comments sparked fear that he was going to be considering his future at the end of the season, and what that might mean for the rest of their top stars.
Even though Chelsea are desperate to keep the World Cup winner, although will be well aware that frustration off the pitch could transfer on it too.
