Liam Rosenior shares what he honestly thinks of the job David Moyes is doing at Everton

Everton welcome Chelsea to the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time on Saturday evening.

David Moyes takes on Liam Rosenior for the first time in management as well, and with Everton currently sat just five points away from Chelsea – who sit sixth – it is all to play for on Merseyside.

Ahead of the clash, Rosenior – who seemed eager to defeat Everton after his humiliating defeat to PSG – shared his honest thoughts on Moyes and the Toffees.

What changes would you make? 🤔

Everton's predicted starting line-up against Chelsea.

Liam Rosenior full of admiration for David Moyes and his work at Everton

Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of his first trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the 41-year-old said: “Firstly to speak about David Moyes. He is a man I have huge respect for, has achieved so much and he understands the club, the traditions of the club.

“They play with an energy and they play an Everton style of football which is high energy, physical and I think he suits the club. They perform at a really high level and a lot of clubs when they change stadiums, it takes time for them to get used to, but their form’s been really really good. They’re in a really good position. He’s doing a great job and we know it’s going to be really difficult.”

Everton could be just two points off sixth place with victory over the west Londoners, who Tyrique George is unable to play against due to the conditions of his loan move.
