U18 Premier League
Arsenal 2 (Zecevic John 16, Munoz 90) Fulham 2 (Batra 50, Dair 59)
14-year-old prospect Luis Munoz scored a late equaliser on his debut as Arsenal U18s secured a point in a 2-2 draw at home to Fulham today.
The young Gunners had been reduced to ten men in the closing stages as goalkeeper Remi Lupinski received a straight red card, with forward Louis Zecevic John ending the game in goal as Arsenal had used all of their substitution windows which meant that schoolboy Charlie Phillips couldn’t come on.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Arsenal managed to equalise through Munoz, who became the second youngest scorer for Arsenal at this level since 2008 behind Ethan Nwaneri.
In addition, since 2008 only Max Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri were younger than Munoz when they made their debuts for Arsenal U18s.
Earlier this campaign Munoz became the youngest ever player to feature in the UEFA Youth League when he came on against Bayern Munich as a 13-year-old. He has also recently trained with the Arsenal first-team squad.
Arsenal fielded a very young team and were without the likes of Brando Bailey-Joseph, Teshaun Murisa and Maalik Hashi, who could be with the U21s on Monday.
Patrick Stachow captained the team on his 17th birthday while Alex Marciniak was surprisingly deployed at right-back.
U15 player Mikael Bonaventure Yetna started as he made his U18s debut.

Subs: Purdy (for Emerson Nwaneri, 61), B. Phillips (for Nduka, 61), Abubakar (for Mbala, 70), Munoz (for Sampang, 78). Not used: C. Phillips.
Arsenal, who were looking to build on their win against West Bromwich Albion, took the lead in the 16th minute as Zecevic John scored after being set up by Marciniak.
However, Fulham managed to equalise just after half time as Anand Batra scored.
The visitors then took the lead through Brodie Dair just before the hour mark.
Arsenal brought on Charlie Purdy and Bowen Phillips, with schoolboy Hakeem Abubakar later coming on.
The key change saw the introduction of Munoz in the 78th minute as he was rewarded for the excellent progress he has made this season.
Lupinski was then sent off, which meant that Zecevic John had to go in goal for the closing stages.
There was still time, though, for Munoz to score and secure Arsenal a point.
