Eagles' projected 2026 starting lineup has completely flipped after free agency

With two weeks of NFL free agency done, the Philadelphia Eagles still have a lot of work to do, but their depth at most positions is looking really solid.

The Eagles made some more moves in Week 2 of free agency as they traded for quarterback Andy Dalton. They also signed some key players like Dameon Pierce, Marcus Epps, and the highlight of the week, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown.

After all the changes, what does the Eagles' lineup look like for the 2026 season? Here's a look at the projected starting lineups on offense, defense, and special teams so far.

Eagles' Projected 2026 Starting Offensive Lineup

QB - Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, Andy Dalton

RB - Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, Will Shipley, Dameon Pierce

WR - A.J. Brown, Johnny Wilson, Quez Watkins

WR - DeVonta Smith, Darius Cooper, Danny Gray

WR - Marquise Brown, Britain Covey

TE - Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra, Johnny Mundt, Stone Smartt

LT - Jordan Mailata, Myles Hinton, Hollin Pierce

LG - Landon Dickerson

C - Cam Jurgens, Drew Kendall, Willie Lampkin, Jake Majors

RG - Tyler Steen

RT - Lane Johnson, Cameron Williams, John Ojukwu

Dalton's arrival in the quarterback room could make things interesting, mostly because the Eagles have an insurance policy in case they decide to trade McKee away. If the room stays the way it is, this might be one of the best the Eagles have had in a while.

The wide receiver position should be good now that they have Marquise Brown in the starting lineup. If A.J. Brown gets traded, that will be a position to watch again, with more competition coming into play.

At the guard positions, there are a lot of concerns after losing their top backup in Brett Toth. The Eagles might look at the backup tackles or centers to see if any of them can switch over, but more than likely, an offensive lineman or two will get picked in the NFL Draft.

Eagles' Projected 2026 Starting Defensive Lineup

DE - Moro Ojomo, Byron Young, Ta'Quon Graham

NT - Jordan Davis

DE - Jalen Carter, Ty Robinson, Gabe Hall

EDGE - Nolan Smith Jr., Arnold Ebiketie

ILB - Zack Baun, Smael Mondon Jr., Chance Campbell

ILB - Jihaad Campbell, Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

EDGE - Jalyx Hunt, Jose Ramirez

CB - Quinyon Mitchell, Kelee Ringo, Ambry Thomas

CB - Riq Woolen, Jonathan Jones, Jakorian Bennett, Mac McWilliams

NB - Cooper DeJean, Michael Carter II, Brandon Johnson

S - Marcus Epps, Michael Carter II, J.T. Gray

S - Andrew Mukuba, Andre' Sam

After Sydney Brown got traded, the safety position got a lot more interesting with Epps and Gray getting signed right after the news. Carter has a chance to compete with Epps for the job, so that will be an interesting position battle in training camp.

Edge rusher could be interesting with Ebiketie in the picture. Smith and Hunt are expected to still be the starters off the edge, but Ebiketie brings in more competition and talent at the position.

With Nakobe Dean gone from the team after signing with the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency, Campbell officially jumps in as the second starting inside linebacker with Baun. Expect Trotter and Mondon to get more playing time in 2026.

Eagles' Projected 2026 Starting Special Teams Lineup

K - Jake Elliott

P - Braden Mann

LS - None

KR - Will Shipley, Tank Bigsby, Britain Covey

PR - Britain Covey

Long snapper Charley Hughlett still has a chance to return to the team despite not being on the active roster; otherwise, the special team is solid. Elliott got a restructured deal for 2026, and Mann got a four-year contract extension. The kick returner spot will be one to watch after the struggles from last season.
