The Golden State Warriors could be without another key contributor as Draymond Green is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks due to left low back injury management, according to the NBA’s injury report.
Green’s status comes on the second night of a back-to-back after Golden State’s 115-101 loss to the Detroit Pistons, raising questions about his availability as the team looks to halt a recent slide.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr opted to limit Green’s workload Friday, pulling him midway through the third quarter as the game began to slip away.
“Back-to-back. Saving him for tomorrow,” Kerr said after the loss.
Green exited with 6:46 remaining in the third quarter and did not return, as Golden State trailed by double digits and ultimately dropped its seventh game in the last eight.
Draymond Green Availability Critical Amid Golden State’s Injury Issues
Green’s potential absence would deal another blow to a Warriors team already dealing with multiple injuries during a pivotal stretch of the season.
The Warriors remain in 10th place in the Western Conference and are attempting to stay within reach of the play-in spots, trailing the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers by one game for the No. 8 seed.

Porziņģis exited Friday’s loss in Detroit after experiencing back spasms and did not return. He later acknowledged the injury tightened as the game progressed, and the Warriors subsequently ruled him out in the official injury report.
The veteran big man had been expected to play a key role against Atlanta, particularly in what would have been his first game against the Hawks since they traded him for Jonathan Kuminga at the deadline.
Without Porziņģis, Golden State’s frontcourt depth becomes significantly thinner — placing even greater importance on Green’s availability.
