3 teams that should be begging to sign Pedro Neto

[Chelsea](https://chelseanews.com/) right winger Pedro Neto is a quality Premier League forward, and while he does not fit the high standards the Blues want as Premier League title hopefuls, he would make a ton of sense for several other notable teams around Europe. Here are three sides that should pick up the phone and call Chelsea about the former Wolves star’s availability this summer.

Atletico Madrid

---------------

Pedro Neto is best off in a 4-3-3 as a right winger and Atletico Madrid play a 4-4-2, but Diego Simeone is flexible enough to utilize both formations and could have some use for Neto as an attacking option.

He has Nico Gonzalez and the well rounded Giuliano Simeone as his favored – and scrappy – option, but Atleti do need a guy who can be a bulldog on the ball with the skill to make magic happen. Nico has the skill, but he doesn’t quite have the consistency or robustness of Neto, who could be a nifty addition to Atleti as they look to push Real Madrid and Barcleona more next year in the La Liga title race.

Newcastle

---------

Anthony Elanga has not really worked out for Newcastle United this season, and it isn’t entirely unfair to say that the Magpies winger has been the biggest transfer flop of the season in contention with the man they sold to Liverpool, Alexander Isak.

What makes Elanga more disappointing is that he has regularly been playing for Newcastle, yet he just can’t get the job done. The goal threat and end product have been disappointing. Meanwhile, Neto is an even more explosive player with better end product as a creator, and his crosses would be a wonderful fit for what Nick Woltemade can potentially do next season if he were to have better creativity around him.

Nottingham Forest

-----------------

Callum Hudson-Odoi has been a real get for Nottingham Forest on the wings, but the same praise cannot be extended to Omari Hutchinson, who is only a slight step above Elanga in contention for the worst right winger of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Hutchinson just does not have the end product to be a Premier League starting winger, nor is he consistent enough, losing the ball too easily when attempting one on ones. Now, Neto’s fit with Forest is 100 percent contingent on Evangelos Marinakis’s side surviving a very tense relegation battle, but if they are to survive this year and want to make it next year, then they need a forward with real star power like Neto who can consistently make good things happen with the ball at his feet.
