Injury report: Jaime Jaquez Jr., Andrew Wiggins and more ahead of Heat vs. Rockets

After a recent seven-game win streak, the Miami Heat have cooled down, losing three straight, including a 30-point loss against the Charlotte Hornets.

As a result, they're in the middle of a three-way tie for seventh in the Eastern Conference.

The Atlanta Hawks currently hold the position, having won 11 of their last 12 games.

Miami sits in eighth, holding a tie-breaker over the Philadelphia 76ers who sit in ninth.

The Charlotte Hornets aren't too back either, trailing by two games in 10th.

With 12 games remaining, each matchup is pivotal as the playoffs near.

For the Heat, they'll face the Houston Rockets in a highly contested matchup Saturday night.

That said, they'll be missing a few of their main contributors.

Head coach Erik Spoelstra will be without Jaime Jaquez Jr. due to a hip injury.

Former No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins has also been ruled out due to a toe injury. Wiggins has now missed over two weeks with the injury, last playing at the beginning of March.

Additionally, Pelle Larsson and Simone Fontecchio are listed as questionable due to foot and back injuries.

Apart from Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams (who are out for the rest of the regular season), the Rockets' injury report is unknown, as they've not been required to submit one yet after Friday's game against the Hawks.

Following Saturday's game, the Rockets will embark on a four-game road trip beginning against the Bulls.

In regards to Miami, they'll return home for a matchup Monday against the Spurs.
