Final Injury Report for Cavaliers-Pelicans: Will Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen Play?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are on the road on Saturday night as they travel to take on the New Orleans Pelicans in an interconference matchup.

Cleveland enters Saturday's game with a 43-27 record after defeating the Chicago Bulls on the road on Thursday night.

In Thursday's victory over the Bulls, James Harden led the way for the Cavaliers as he recorded 36 points, seven rebounds and nine assists while Evan Mobley added 26 points, 14 rebounds and three assists of his own.

Now Cleveland will try to grab another victory on the road on Saturday night as they face off against a struggling Pelicans team.

On the other side, New Orleans enters Saturday's contest with a 25-46 record after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers at home on Thursday night.

Trey Murphy III led the way for the Pelicans in Thursday's victory as he ended the game with 27 points and five rebounds while Saddiq Bey recorded 20 points, six rebounds and six assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday night's matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Cavaliers, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen.

Cleveland has listed Mitchell as questionable due to a left eye contusion and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest.

If Mitchell is sidelined once again, Keon Ellis, Max Strus and Nae'Qwan Tomlin could all be in line for increased roles.

The Cavaliers have also listed Jaylon Tyson as questionable due to a left toe sprain that he suffered in Thursday's victory.

Jarrett Allen has been ruled out due to right knee tendonitis as he will miss his eighth consecutive contest.

Tyrese Proctor has also been ruled out due to a right quad strain while Craig Porter Jr. remains sidelined while recovering from a left groin strain.

Pelicans Injury Report: Will Dejounte Murray, Bryce McGowens Play?

On the other side, the Pelicans have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out forward Bryce McGowens.

New Orleans has ruled out McGowens due to a right small toe fracture as he will miss his sixth straight game.

The good news for the Pelicans is that Dejounte Murray is off their injury report and will return after missing Thursday's game due to Achilles injury management.
