Chelsea have now suffered four consecutive losses with Everton comfortably securing a 3-0 triumph at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday evening. Liam Rosenior's side were embarrassed on Merseyside with what proved a dismal display from the west Londoners. Beto netted twice for the Toffees and Iliman Ndiaye contributed a third in the second half to heap further misery upon the visitors.

Chelsea player ratings vs Everton

Robert Sanchez - 3

Escaped punishment big time 10 minutes in. Dawdled on the ball and Beto nearly robbed him for what would have been a guaranteed goal. Perhaps being overly critical but appeared somewhat sluggish coming off his line for Beto's goal. Should have done better for the striker's second.

Malo Gusto - 5

A vital block 14 minutes in to prevent what appeared a goal-bound effort from James Garner. Substituted at half-time.

Wesley Fofana - 4

Surrendered possession on five minutes in what proved an uncertain opening to the match. Considering Fofana's recent form, that was the last thing he required. For Beto's first goal, Fofana was excessively passive. The Frenchman didn't anticipate it whatsoever and that proved costly for Chelsea.

Jorrel Hato - 6

Entrusted at centre-back once more. He formed part of a back four that struggled in the opening half particularly, though Hato was arguably the least culpable.

Marc Cucurella - 6

The majority of Everton's attacks materialised down their left flank so Cucurella wasn't tested particularly from a defensive perspective. Appeared dangerous going forward but unable to significantly influence proceedings.

Romeo Lavia - 5

Only his second Premier League start of the campaign. Distributed effectively but didn't contribute greatly defensively.

Moises Caicedo - 5

An incredibly careless start to the match. His distribution was considerably below standard. Improved as proceedings continued but this was far from vintage Caicedo. The Ecuadorian shifted to right-back in the second period where he performed OK.

Cole Palmer - 6

In what proved a sluggish first-half display from Chelsea, Palmer was among the few providing any reason for optimism going forward. Overall, seemed like a positive showing from Palmer but he received little help from his team-mates.

Enzo Fernandez - 5

Had an excellent opportunity to find the net on 36 minutes but saw his close-range effort brilliantly saved by Jordan Pickford. Fernandez was unable to influence proceedings in the spaces between the midfield and defensive lines.

Pedro Neto - 5

Had very little success on the left flank during the opening 45 minutes so he switched flanks for the second period. Didn't do much more there either.

Joao Pedro - 5

Chelsea struggled to involve the Brazilian striker in the match, particularly during the first half. Facing two robust centre-halves, Joao Pedro never had any joy.

Substitutes

Alejandro Garnacho (on for Gusto 46') - 5

Introduced at the interval to provide Chelsea with another attacking option.

Andrey Santos (substituted for Lavia 57') - 5

Squandered possession cheaply for the second goal.

Estevao Willian (replaced Neto 70') - 6

Shone when he entered the fray. Perhaps should have been introduced earlier.

Tosin Adarabioyo (came on for Caicedo 78') - N/A

Unclear why he was brought on given the 3-0 scoreline.

Liam Delap (substituted for Joao Pedro 78') - N/A

Insufficient time to make a difference.
