Everton ran out 3-0 winners against Chelsea which has seen them close the gap to the Club World Cup Winners, for the race for Europe in the Premier League.
A brace from Beto set Everton on their way for back-to-back home wins at Hill Dickinson and has cemented their ambitions to finish in Europe this season.
Iliman Ndiaye wrapped it with a curling strike in what was a statement win for David Moyes’s side.

Starting XI
Jordan Pickford-8
Made a fast reaction save to push over Enzo Fernandez’s strike in the first-half. Pickford has now kept 100 clean sheets for the Blues.
Pickford, also pushed away an Enzo Fernandez's strike early in the second-half.
Jake O’Brien- 7
Another strong performance from the Irish international who kept Pedro Neto quiet, and dealt with Alejandro Garnacho with ease.
James Tarkowski – 7
Returned to the starting 11 and settled straight back in and was strong in the air, and handled Joao Pedro well.
Michael Keane -7
Similar to Tarkowski it was a comfortable evening for Keane, who was calm in possession and dealt with crosses all afternoon.
Vitalii Mykolenko – 7.5
A strong afternoon for Mykolenko, who was strong going forward and defensively. The Ukraine international put in a couple of dangerous crosses and dealt with tricky wingers, Neto and Estevao.
Idrissa Gueye – 7
Gueye was energetic throughout and came out on top when it came to dealing with Fernandez and Cole Palmer.
Played a cool pass to Beto who fired past Sanchez.
James Garner -8
Against Liam Rosenior’s men Garner justified on why Thomas Tuchel called him up to the England side.
Garner threaded through a pass from deep which Beto got on the receiving end of.
Garner was everywhere and put in strong tackles and kept Everton ticking.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall -7
A quieter afternoon compared to Garner but Dewsbury-Hall was up and down for Everton helping link up the play to Everton’s forward line.
The 27-year-old found himself in behind Chelsea’s back-line but couldn’t produce anything.
Dwight McNeil -7
McNeil worked hard but at times struggled to get involved in the final third.
Defensively McNeil helped lock down Chelsea’s left-hand side as Marc Cucerella and Neto were quiet.
Iliman Ndiaye – 7.5
At times struggled to impose himself when up against Malo Gusto, but always carried a threat throughout.
Ndiaye wrapped up the game with a wonderful curling strike which flew into the top right corner.
Beto – 10
Two goals and an assist, Beto was a nuisance throughout and bullied the Chelsea defence.
The first goal he was on the receiving end of a James Garner pass and dinked it past Sanchez to fire the Blues in front.
Beto’s second was a tight powerful strike down the right which went under Sanchez and crept under the Spaniard, which secured the points for David Moyes’s side.
For the third, Beto won a flick on which fell to Ndiaye. It was a strong performance from the 28-year-old who has now got six goals in the league.

The substitutes made little impact as Everton ran out 3-0 winners. Iroegbunam went on a charging run late on, and his effort was pushed away.
