In his pregame speech for the Warriors' Saturday clash against the Atlanta Hawks, Kerr told reporters that the superstar guard will be scrimmaging tomorrow before the entire team travels to Dallas to face the Mavericks on Monday.

This marks the most significant step for Curry, as he continues to make key progress in his right knee injury.

“He’s going to play tomorrow morning before we got to Dallas,” Kerr said, via Joseph Dycus of The Mercury News. “Rick (Celebrini) will evaluate him and it’s the next step.”

The Dubs announced recently that Curry has made "good progress" from his runner's knee recovery. He already intensified his individual on-court workouts and will be incorporated into live action and team practices in the coming days.

He will be re-evaluated after the Warriors' lengthy road trip.

Curry hasn't played since late January. As such, Kerr and the Warriors can only hope that he can finally return sooner, heading to the final critical stage of the season.

The Warriors are poised to enter the Play-In Tournament. They are currently 10th in the West with a 33-37 record and are aiming to get as high as the No. 8 seed.
