After the game, head coach Steve Kerr made a very honest statement when he met with the media.

Kerr (h/t Joseph Dycus of Mercury News): “It’s tough, tough time, for sure, for everybody, it’s human nature to, you know, to kind of get down hang your head. I’m just trying to encourage the guys to keep competing… Stay positive, because reinforcements will come… We’re all in a tough spot right now.”

With their loss to the Hawks, the Warriors dropped to 33-38 in 71 games, which has them as the 10th seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak (and have lost eight out of their last ten).

On the road, the Warriors are 14-23 in the 37 games they have played away from the Chase Center in San Francisco.

ESPN’s Anthony Slater wrote: “Warriors blown out in Atlanta. They’re 1-4 on this long road trip that ends on Monday night in Dallas. Quiet Jonathan Kuminga night in the reunion game.

GSW record: 33-38, a season-high five games below .500. Steph Curry scrimmage scheduled for tomorrow. Important checkpoint.”
