It has reached rock bottom for Chelsea as Everton’s own X account decided to directly mock Liam Rosenior last night.
Everton’s media team on X have spent all night completely milking the win and you know what, fair play to them. They had just beaten Chelsea, the current World Champions, 3-0 at home in the Premier League. It was a massive result for them and they did well to get it.

Chelsea were awful once again and went down to their fourth defeat in a row; two defeats in a row in the Premier League now.
The 3-0 score line looks like a thrashing, and you know what? It WAS a thrashing. I don’t care about xG or how many chances Chelsea did or didn’t have, or who controlled the game, this, that, and the other. The score line is all that matters.
Everton mock Rosenior
As you can see above, Everton posted on their X account, ‘respecting the ball’.
This is from Rosenior telling the media that the reason for Chelsea’s huddle around the ball in the centre circle because they wanted to respect the ball in some bizarre comments trying to justify it.
Being mocked directly by Everton, can it get any worse than this!?
In other news…
The managerclaimed that it wasn’t a lack of effort or tactical mistakes that were costing Chelsea – but insisted he didn’t want to blame the players in the wake of the Everton defeat last night.
But Rosenioralso blamed “mistakes” for the goals Chelsea were conceding – but we’re going to need a bit more than that I’m afraid.
