Everton manager David Moyes managed to mastermind a 3-0 victory over Chelsea on Saturday.
Liam Rosenior’s side put in one of their worst performances of the season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, allowing themselves to be terrorised by Beto the entire game.
Even so, Moyes was quite complimentary of Chelsea after the full-time whistle.

David Moyes praises Chelsea’s quality
In the end, it was a very easy win for Moyes and his side, but the Everton boss still thinks Chelsea are an outfit with a lot of quality.
Speaking after the game, Moyes said via the Liverpool Echo: “Chelsea were coming here, probably hurting a little bit from their recent results, but we were able to nullify it at different times.
“They’ve got so much quality on their side as well, it was always going to be a difficult game to deal with [given] the level of players they had.”

Right now, that will be debated, but what is certainly true is that Rosenior’s team are hurting. They are on an awful run of form, losing their last four games.
In that run, Chelsea lost twice to Paris Saint-Germain, which includes a 5-2 defeat at the Parc des Princes.
It is a worrying time for Chelsea supporters, especially with Cole Palmer struggling for form at the moment.
He is their best player, but Palmer did very little against Everton and has been on the decline under Rosenior.
Chelsea only have quality on paper right now
Looking at Chelsea’s squad, there certainly are some quality players there. Again, he may not be playing well right now, but Palmer is still one of the best attackers in the Premier League.
Teammates Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Joao Pedro and Marc Cucurella are also very good footballers.
Other than Fernandez, though, none of their quality is actually being seen on the pitch. Pedro’s quality was, but he is now on a little bit of a goal drought after previously being on a fantastic run in front of goal.
Hopefully Pedro, Palmer and the rest of this Chelsea team can improve after the international break. They have to, with games against Manchester City and Manchester United to come.
With Chelsea competing against United for a place in the top five, the Blues cannot afford to lose that match.
