The first Fanatics Flag Football Classic at LA’s BMO Stadium on Saturday pitted NFL stars against the world’s best flag athletes.
The stacked roster includes Tom Brady and Jalen Hurts, who captain the Founders, coached by Sean Payton, while Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow lead the Wildcats, coached by Kyle Shanahan. Team USA, the reigning world champions, dominated the round-robin tournament and took the title.
Despite Team USA’s win, Brady and Paul’s on-camera beef is dominating the headlines, rooted in an episode of Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast weeks earlier. In that episode, Brady questioned if the WWE star and former linebacker actually belonged on the same field as NFL players.

Their alleged bad blood peaked during Wednesday’s draft at a Beverly Hills hotel. Rob Gronkowski spent the night heckling Paul over appetizers while Kevin Hart tried to keep the peace. By the time the games started on Saturday, their personal beef was giving the only entertainment value.
Fans torch Logan Paul for squaring up like WrestleMania after Tom Brady’s petty ball peg
The moment happened on a trick play. Brady threw a short pass, then sprinted downfield to catch the return. Paul chased him down and yanked his flag to stop the play.
Following the whistle, Brady fired the ball straight at Paul’s stomach. The YouTuber-turned-star wrestler reacted instantly, pulling a knee up to protect himself before stepping toward Brady for a brief standoff.

Brady kept smiling while Paul gave the GOAT quarterback a stare from the side, looking ready to smash the 48-year-old’s face, if only for a second. Most people assumed it was a staged setup to promote WrestleMania 42 next month, but that didn’t stop the comments from blowing up.
One fanwrote, “That’s the kind of behavior you see from a man who lost his wife to the yoga teacher. What a loser.”
Another oneadded, “Logan is such a p—-.”
A third oneclaimed, “Why is that piece of sh*t even there?”
The fourth onepenned, “This is the fakest beef I’ve ever witnessed.”
One userremarked, “Can Logan Paul go away? His 15 minutes of fame is up.”
And a random X usernoted, “Dude if hands were thrown it would of been 10 against 1 with Logan being the one getting beat by the 10!”
Another fanadded, “That’s the kind of behavior you see from a man who lost his wife to the yoga teacher What a loser.”
Team USA outscored the Founders and Wildcats by a combined 82–30 in the initial round-robin games. Including the championship game, they outscored opponents 106–44 across all three contests. They finished 3-0, scoring on nearly every single possession of the tournament.
The rivalry between Brady and Paul isn’t over, though. With WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas just a few weeks away, there is plenty of time for this to escalate if WWE actually has a plan.
