Match Date and Kick-off:Arsenal and Manchester City will meet in the 2026 Carabao Cup final on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The match is set to begin at 4:30pm UK time at Wembley Stadium.
Free-to-Air TV Channel: In welcome news for fans, the final is being aired live on free-to-air television through ITV1 and STV (in Scotland). ITV's coverage is scheduled to get underway at 3:30pm UK time, giving viewers an hour of build-up before kick-off.
Pay-TV Coverage: Sky Sports, the competition's primary broadcaster, will also offer full coverage of the game. Viewers can tune in via Sky Sports Football, Sky Sports Main Event, and enjoy the match in 4k on Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
Live Stream Options: The game can be streamed at no cost using ITVX or the STV Player. Subscribers to Sky Sports can watch via the Sky Go app, while those without a subscription have the option to purchase a NOW Sports Day Membership to gain access.
Radio Coverage: Nationwide radio commentary will be provided by BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT. Both outlets will begin their live build-up from Wembley earlier in the afternoon.
The Stakes: This showdown features the top two teams in the Premier League. Arsenal are currently leading the standings and chasing their first League Cup triumph since 1993, while Manchester City are aiming to win their first piece of silverware since 2024.
Recent Form:Mikel Arteta's team come into the final in strong form, having recently knocked Bayer Leverkusen out of the Champions League and recorded an important win over Everton. Meanwhile, City lost crucial ground in the title race via a draw against West Ham last weekend, and were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in midweek.
Head to Head: Arsenal have enjoyed greater success in recent encounters, claiming three wins from their last six meetings - including a penalty shootout victory in the Community Shield - and notably recording a 5-1 win in February last year. Man City's last success in this fixture came in April 2023, which capped a run of eight consecutive victories over Arsenal.
