That's where we will sign off this afternoon!

It was a a pleasure to keep you up to speed with all the drama around the country. In summary, it was promotion for Carlow and Wicklow (Division 4), Down and Wexford (Division 3) as well as Meath and Cork (Division 2). Finally in Division 1, Donegal will face Kerry in the final.

Going down, we have Limerick and Fermanagh (Division 3), Kildare and Offaly (Division 2) and finally, Dublin and Monaghan (Division 1). We'll be back for the National Hurling and Football League finals next weekend!

UPDATE: Donegal and Kerry head for Division 1 final as Dublin and Monaghan are relegated!

NFL Div 1:

Armagh 1-21 Kerry 0-24 (Result)

Mayo 4-26 Roscommon 2-11 (Result)

Monaghan 3-15 Donegal 3-20 (Result)

Galway 0-20 Dublin 1-15 (Result)

All over at the Athletic Grounds and it's a draw for Armagh which is enough to keep them in the topflight, likewise the point ensures Kerry reach the Division 1 final!

Mayo looked destined for the final at one stage themselves, but a late Sean O'Shea equalizer for the Kingdom pushed them back down into third place in the standings.

Donegal made no mistake and claimed their place in the decider by defeating an already relegated Monaghan, meanwhile Galway left it late in dramatic fashion to relegate 14-man Dublin to Division 2 for 2027.

There's no doubt the late Michael Lyster will be looking down on the Tribesmen with a smile today - born in Waterford, but spent much of his formative years in Galway! He'd be proud of Padraic Joyce's men.

Mayo 4-24 Roscommon 2-10

Monaghan 3-15 Donegal 3-20

Galway 0-20 Dublin 1-15

Armagh go back in front which sees them climb out of the relegation zone at Dublin's expense. Oisin Conaty to the fore with their last two scores. That would also mean Mayo take Kerry's place in the final.

Galway lead too after Rob Finnerty's tremendous two-pointer adding to a Cian Hernon score. The Dubs have it all to do now - they need Kerry to do them a favour and a positive result here but time is running out!

Armagh 1-18 Kerry 0-22

Mayo 4-23 Roscommon 2-10

Monaghan 3-14 Donegal 3-19

Galway 0-17 Dublin 1-15

With Kerry regaining the lead through a Joe O'Connor two-pointer and a David Clifford's latest score, Kerry are heading for the final with Donegal.

Dublin, who were heading for the relegation zone minutes ago, could be saved by the Kingdom as Armagh slip into the bottom two alongside Monaghan.

NFL Div 1: (All 3.30pm, 62 mins)

Armagh 1-18 Kerry 0-19

Mayo 4-23 Roscommon 2-08

Monaghan 3-13 Donegal 3-18

Galway 0-16 Dublin 1-15

Another interesting permutation to take into account in Salthill - Dublin need to win by four or more points if it stays like this. After Galway register points through Rob Finnerty, Liam O'Conghaile and Cian Hernon; suddenly it's the Dubs who are heading for Division 2 as it stands!

Armagh 1-16 Kerry 0-19

Mayo 4-21 Roscommon 2-07

Monaghan 3-13 Donegal 3-16

Galway 0-12 Dublin 1-14

Darragh McMullan and Cian McConville kick Armagh back in front by a point which currently lifts them out of the relegation zone.

GOAL! Donegal have capitalised on a mix-up under the high ball as Rory Beggan can't clear his lines and Shea Malone sticks it in the net.

RED CARD and GOAL! The drama continues in Salthill as Peadar O'Cofaigh Byrne is sent off for a second bookable offence, but Dublin get a goal from the next attack through an ice-cool Killian McGinnis. Galway stay in the relegation places!

Armagh 1-15 Kerry 0-17

Mayo 4-19 Roscommon 2-06

Monaghan 3-13 Donegal 2-15

Galway 0-12 Dublin 0-13

With Armagh still leading against Kerry, Mayo and Donegal are in control of the top two final spots in the table.

GOAL! Roscommon get a consolation goal through Eoin Colleran, but their chances of reaching the final look dead and buried here.

Jack McCarron and Fionan Carolan have nudged Monaghan in front at Clones.

Galway make it a one-point game as Oisin MacDonnacha converts a free before Paul Conroy's two-pointer and a Cein Darcy point.

Monaghan 3-11 Donegal 2-14

Galway 0-08 Dublin 0-13

GOAL! Oisin O'Neill rattles in a goal for Armagh to put them in the lead which sees Mayo leapfrog Kerry to join Donegal in the final as it stands.

Dessie Ward and Rory Beggan have pulled Monaghan level from two-point range early in this second-half.

Both Dylan McHugh and Peadar O'Cofaigh Byrne were black carded for their part in the skirmish below. Ger Brennan was also sent off alongside Galway S&C coach Cian Breathnach McGinn.

Killian McGinnis and Rob Finnerty have exchanged points since the restart, but Galway are heading for relegation if things stay the way they are.

BREAKING: Michael Lyster, the long time presenter of the Sunday Game, has died.

Former Sunday Game presenter Michael Lyster dies aged 71

Armagh 0-10 Kerry 0-12

Mayo 4-11 Roscommon 1-05

Monaghan 3-07 Donegal 2-11

Galway 0-07 Dublin 0-12

If it stays this way Armagh will be relegated, but they only trail Kerry at the break by two after Joe O'Connor's late point.

GOAL! A fourth goal for Andy Moran's side - this time Ryan O'Donoghue tucking it away from the penalty line.

Scenes in Salthill as Galway are awarded a penalty which is saved by Dublin's Hugh O'Sullivan. The half ends with a fracas as Dubs manager Ger Brennan and a member of the Galway selectors are grappling with each other - all happening here!

NFL Div 1: (All 3.30pm, 32 mins)

Armagh 0-09 Kerry 0-11

Mayo 3-10 Roscommon 1-04

Monaghan 3-07 Donegal 2-11

Galway 0-07 Dublin 0-11

Armagh have pulled it back to a two-point game thanks to the impact of Conor Turbitt off the bench replacing Oisin Conaty.

GOAL! Donegal have hit back with a second goal after a Jason McGee two-pointer with Peadar Mogan feeding Jamie Brennan to find the net. That also puts Donegal back inside the top-two alongside Kerry.

GOAL! Mayo have a firm grip on their clash with Connacht rivals Roscommon at the minute. Cian McHale's delightful kick-pass finds Aidan O'Shea who drills in a third goal.

NFL Div 1: (All 3.30pm, 28 mins)

Armagh 0-04 Kerry 0-11

Mayo 2-07 Roscommon 1-04

Monaghan 3-05 Donegal 1-09

Galway 0-06 Dublin 0-10

GOAL! Monaghan find the net again. Slack defending from Donegal allowed Ryan O'Toole to pick his spot in the lower-left corner.

As it stands, Mayo have leapfrogged Donegal into second-place with Kerry on top! At the other end, Armagh will be relegated alongside Monaghan should it stay like this.

NFL Div 1: (All 3.30pm, 25 mins)

Armagh 0-01 Kerry 0-09

Mayo 2-06 Roscommon 1-02

Monaghan 2-04 Donegal 1-09

David Clifford and Dylan Geaney extend Kerry's lead before Cian McConville eventually gets Armagh off the mark.

TWO GOALS! Mayo find the back of the net twice in quick succession. Paul Towey first and the picked off Roscommon's kick-out as Jack Carney punished.

GOAL! Donegal find some breathing space with Jason McGee to the fore, but Monaghan get a second goal through Stephen O'Hanlon with a bullet.

Dubs goalkeeper Hugh O'Sullivan and Oisin MacDonnacha exchange two-pointers at either end.

Armagh yet to get off the mark and still occupy the second relegation spot as it stands - Kerry's sixth point coming from who else but David Clifford.

GOAL! Mayo briefly opened up a slender leadthanks to Ryan O'Donoghue and Diarmuid Duffy, but Ben O'Carroll has just struck a goal for the Rossies.

GOAL! Monaghan find a perfect response to the concession of a goal with one of their own coming from Andrew Woods. Donegal still set for the final at the minute!

Oisin MacDonnacha and Rob Finnerty kick points for the Tribesmen. Sean Bugler and Sean Kelly have been yellow carded for a bit of a scuffle.

David Clifford of Kerry is tackled by Aaron McKay of Armagh.

UPDATE: Late goal sees Wexford join Down in promotion from Division 3 while Limerick and Fermanagh drop down!

Down 0-24 Laois 2-22 (Result)

Limerick 2-15 Fermanagh 0-20 (Result)

Incredible scenes at Wexford Park as Darragh Brooks comes forward to kick back-to-back two-pointers before Sean Ryan makes himself the hero scoring the game-winning goal. Westmeath denied promotion at the death by the Yellowbellies!

Despite suffering their first defeat of the campaign, Down were already promoted before a ball was kicked this afternoon. Sligo's narrow win saw them leapfrog Clare, rendering Limerick's win over Fermanagh useless as both were relegated.

GOAL! Donegal are looking to secure their berth in the final and have already cut a relegated Monaghan open with a goal.

Dublin have started like a house on fire in Salthill with a Sean Bugler two-pointer with scores from Ciaran Kilkenny and Ross McGarry. Rob Finnerty gets Galway on the board.

1’ The ball is thrown in and away we go in the last round Division 1!

Once again, it’s a perfect afternoon in Salthill with mild gusts from the west which greet us for this contest. This afternoon’s referee is Fergal Kelly from the Ballymahon GAA club in County Longford.

"We're a bit disappointed with our home form but hopefully we'll address that this afternoon". 💬Smaointe Ger Brennan agus John Concannon roimh an chluiche. BEO/LIVE AR @TG4TV 📺@AllianzIreland #AllianzLeagues #GAABeo pic.twitter.com/pId7DktCpS— Spórt TG4 (@SportTG4) March 22, 2026

Frank Roche sets the scene live from Salthill as Galway face Dublin:

The sun is shining on Pearse Stadium as Galway and Dublin warm up for this afternoon’s relegation dogfight.

There is the possibility that neither team will be demoted, Armagh joining Monaghan through the trap door … but conversely the vanquished here could be the ultimate losers.

To be guaranteed survival, Dublin must win by four points or more – to protect themselves in the event of an Armagh win against Kerry, sending Galway down instead.

Pádraic Joyce’s men are in the best position of the struggling trio, two points ahead of both Armagh and Dublin, but a damaging defeat could change all that.

There is no late change to the announced Dublin line-up, but there is an intriguing 11th hour switch among the subs. Skipper Con O’Callaghan, absent since tweaking his hamstring against Kerry in round four, replaces Cormac Costello on the match-day ’26’.

Galway have made two late switches to their starting team, Kieran Molloy and Ryan Roche replacing Ciaran Mulhern and Liam Ó Conghaile up front.

GALWAY – C Flaherty; J McGrath, C Hernon, J Glynn; L Silke, D McHugh, S Kelly; J Maher, M Tierney; S McGrath, K Molloy, C D’Arcy, R Finnerty, O Mac Donnacha, R Roche.

DUBLIN – H O’Sullivan; E Murchan, N Doran, D Byrne; E Kennedy, B Howard, A Gavin; P Ó Cofaigh Byrne, C McMorrow; R McGarry, S Bugler, N Scully; P Small, K McGinnis, C Kilkenny.

The flags of Ireland, Galway GAA and Dublin GAA flying before the game in Salthill.

GALWAY’S LINEUP:

Avoiding defeat should be enough for Galway to survive in Division 1 and this afternoon, the Tribesmen name a largely unchanged side with Conor Flaherty in goals behind Cian Hernon and Dylan McHugh from centre half-back once again. John Maher captains the side in midfield alongside Matthew Tierney. The half-forwards see Shane McGrath and Cein Darcy line out behind full-forwards Rob Finnerty and Oisin MacDonnacha.

Two late changes sees Kieran Molloy replace Ciaran Mulhern, while Brian Roche starts at corner-forward over Liam O'Conghaile:
