The incident occurred late in the first half when tensions boiled over. With 27 seconds remaining, a shoving match broke out involving Champagnie and Jaylin Williams.
The situation quickly escalated when Mitchell entered the fray and added to the confrontation by pushing a Wizards' player, which intensified the scuffle between both teams.
Players from both sides had to be separated as the situation grew out of control. Officials stepped in to restore order and reviewed the incident.
